It's great that there's so much vaccination in some places, but billions of people are still not vaccinated (for whatever reason), and that represents a lot of suffering to come. Very sad.
100% true, the "confirmed cases" graph of the UK reminds me of the Nasdaq 100 chart from the 1990s, with the "2000 peak" and now going parabolic much higer than ever before. https://i.imgur.com/QnUpK4V.png

Imagine if we had this variant early on, or if the original strain, had been this Omicron. Without vaccines for a year.. Yikes
