I don't know the specifics of the fine print on these offers and they may be different, but historically, it is very difficult (you have to be on a major heater) to cash out any bonus bets. In other words, even if you win a bet using the bonus money, they won't let you cash out the bonus or the winnings until you've reached some ridiculous (nearly unattainable) threshold.

Thank you for sending me the fine print, Andrew. It appears these offers are indeed bonkers.

For free bets, the best way is to put it all on a longshot in the 4/6-1 range, and spread that around the different books. You win less, but your payout is much better than, say, betting opposite sides at different books. The math looks like a X^(1/2) chart, but if you do 95-1 longshots your will run out of sportsbooks before you win.

If you don't bet the max $3k on one free bet, you are giving up huge EV.

Anything more you can say about the logistics of flying in for a weekend, cashing in on the deal, then leaving and withdrawing funds? 1. How soon would I be able to withdraw the funds, including the 3k deposit? 2. Probably hard to know, but do you expect this deal to last until next weekend if I book a flight?

While I think it is doable, I don't feel comfy giving logistical details. I'd suggest looking at the fine print of the offers

I don’t blame you. Didn’t mean to put you on the spot. Thanks for the informative post!

Thanks for the “tip.” However, betting on both sides of the line is not permitted to qualify for the bonus, which would have made this more of a no-brainer. With that out the way, what’s the angle I can present to Grandma, Grandpa, in-laws, etc. to guarantee them the maximum net return from their $3000 deposit?

I generally just spread the bet around a bunch of even money type bets (i.e. for a $250 match, make 25 $10 bets on a bunch of different games that are around even money) and assume you'll go close to 50/50
